The purpose of this gathering was to pay homage to his supreme sacrifice for India’s freedom and to carry forward his legacy of struggle, courage, and service to the younger generation. The event began at 12:30 PM, though attendees started arriving as early as 11:00 AM at the Langar Hall of Gurdwara Guru Ravidass Ji, Yuba City. Before the program commenced, the audience enjoyed tea, snacks, and langar. Nearly 100 attendees from various cities across California participated in the memorial event, expressing their deep respect for Shaheed Udham Singh. The program opened with the Dhadi Jatha led by Giani Gurnam Singh Bhandal Ji. Through traditional ballads, they presented the life, struggle, and historic contributions of Shaheed Udham Singh in a deeply emotional and powerful manner, filling the atmosphere with the spirit of martyrdom. The event was conducted with grace, clarity, and professionalism by stage hosts Mohinder Dosanjh and Jatinder Sanghera.
